RACE Telemetry Modem Kit

Racecar and Custom Electrical's telemetry modem kit enables live transmission of data from Bosch Motorsport or MoTeC ECUs, dashes, and loggers, giving the pit crew real-time visibility of critical performance and reliability data from the car.

These are high-quality European-made telemetry modems. The compact modem enclosures are well suited to race car installation, where space, weight, and reliable mounting are important. The car-side modem is fitted with a robust Autosport connector, making it suitable for reliable integration into professional motorsport wiring systems.

The system uses 4G LTE cellular communication, with 3G fallback where supported by the local network. A single pit-side modem can receive data streams from multiple cars, making the system ideal for race teams and multi-car operations.

Each kit is supplied with the required pit-side and car-side accessories, including a pit aerial, pit power supply, Ethernet communication cable, and a flat surface-mount car antenna.

SIM cards are required for operation. Racecar and Custom Electrical can supply SIM cards, assist with account setup, and configure the modems professionally before dispatch. Where required, SIM accounts can be set up in the customer's name, with the modem system supplied ready for installation and use.

SIM Card and Account Setup

SIM cards are required for the telemetry system to operate over the cellular network. Racecar and Custom Electrical can supply the SIM cards, assist with setting up the required accounts in the customer's name, configure the modem settings, and send the system out ready for installation.
